Description
The sundial tower consists of four vertical sundials made of stainless steel, which are aligned in the four cardinal directions. The sundials on the east, south and west sides show the true solar time as well as the solstices and the equinoxes. Using a chart, you can determine the Central European Time (CET / CEST) or any other standard time from the displayed true solar time.
The north side has a special feature. A light spot is projected through a hole on the south side onto the glass pane installed in the north. At noon, the point of light travels from west to east across the sundial scale, indicating true and mean noon. In addition, the date and seasons can be read.
The sundial tower is made as unique for the location, individual labeling requests can be met.
